Depth-based psychological support for grief, loss, trauma, and the search for self. Online across the UK and internationally. In person in London.

If you are here, something has brought you to this point. Perhaps you have lost someone you love. Perhaps the loss is harder to name than that - a relationship, a sense of who you are, a future you had planned that quietly disappeared. Perhaps you have held it together for so long that you have lost contact with yourself beneath the effort.

Whatever has brought you here, you do not have to carry it alone. And you do not have to have the words for it yet. That is what the work is for.

What I work With

  • Bereavement and grief - sudden loss, traumatic bereavement, anticipatory grief, and the grief that has no name

  • Relationship loss - separation, divorce, estrangement, the end of friendships

  • Identity loss - redundancy, career transition, parenthood, empty nest, retirement, serious illness

  • Self-estrangement - the sense of performing your own life from a distance, losing contact with who you are beneath the roles and responsibilities

  • Traumatic bereavement - loss through suicide, accident, homicide, or sudden illness

  • Existential crisis - loss of meaning, purpose, and direction in the wake of major change

  • High-functioning distress - the particular suffering of people who appear fine and are not, who have held it together so long they have forgotten what it feels like not to

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

My Approach

My work is depth-based, trauma-informed, and existentially grounded. I draw on existential psychology, the Anchored Model I have developed through 25 years of clinical practice, somatic approaches to grief, and compassion-focused therapy.

I do not work with a fixed protocol or a prescribed number of sessions. I work with you - with the specific texture of your loss, the specific shape of your distress, and the specific life you are trying to find your way back to.

What I offer is not the management of symptoms. It is the kind of honest, sustained, clinically grounded companionship that allows genuine change to happen - at depth, and in your own time. Healing begins when pain is witnessed. When your inner world is met with steadiness, empathy, and care. That is what I bring to every session.

Clinical Supervision for Psychologists and Therapists

Existential and depth-based supervision for qualified practitioners working with grief, loss, trauma, and existential themes.

I offer individual clinical supervision for qualified therapists, counsellors, and psychologists who are working with complex presentations - particularly those involving grief, traumatic bereavement, existential crisis, loss of identity, and the kinds of suffering that resist easy clinical categorisation.

My supervision is grounded in existential philosophy and depth psychology. It is reflective, rigorous, and genuinely relational - concerned not just with case management and clinical risk, but with the fuller existential and philosophical dimensions of the therapeutic encounter. What does it mean to sit with a person who has lost everything? How does the therapist hold the weight of another's mortality, grief, or meaninglessness without being overwhelmed by it or retreating into technique? These are the questions at the heart of good existential supervision, and the questions I bring into every supervisory relationship.

I supervise practitioners at all stages of their career - from newly qualified therapists encountering their first traumatically bereaved client, to experienced clinicians seeking a more philosophically grounded supervisory space for the most challenging work they do.

What supervision with me offers:

  • A grounded existential framework for working with grief, loss, and traumatic bereavement

  • Reflective space for the most emotionally demanding clinical material

  • Engagement with the philosophical and existential dimensions of the therapeutic relationship

  • Support for the therapist's own relationship to loss, mortality, and meaning — because supervision that ignores this is incomplete

  • Practical clinical guidance on complex presentations including traumatic bereavement, prolonged grief, existential crisis, and self-estrangement

Practical information:

  • Session length: 60 minutes

  • Frequency: Fortnightly recommended. Monthly available for experienced practitioners.

  • Fee: £150 per session

  • Available: Online across the UK and internationally.
